Good News for Unemployed Nigerians: Dangote’s Refinery set to employ at least 70,000 workers

*To start operation early 2021

According to the Appex Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr Godwin Emefiele, the supposed biggest oil Refinery in Africa is set to employ atleast 70,000 Nigerians when it begins operation in 2021.

He stated that Nigeria will soon become the biggest and only urea exporter in sub-Saharan Africa for the first time, noting that Nigeria would be exporting on a very Large scale.

Dangote said one of the reasons to the Central Bank of Nigeria is supporting us is because by the time the project is fully operational, they will not only be creating jobs for 70,000 workers but will also reduce the outflow of FOREX not only in Petroleum but also in Fertilizers and Petrochemicals.

Nigerians will now have to wait for the refinery located in Lekki free-zone to commence maximum operation in 2021.
