By Adaobi Rhema Oguejiofor

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NNDC) has said that all hands are on deck to ensure the completion and inauguration of the 132/33kv electricity substation that is being built by the Commission in Okitipupa, Ondo State.

The NDDC Executive Director of Projects, Charles Ogunmola, while speaking during the inspection of the project, stated that the contractor must work towards concluding the project in the next three months.

Ogunmola noted that the Commission is dedicated to supplying electricity to the oil-producing communities in Ondo South Senatorial District that had been without power supply for the last 15 years.

According to him, a speedy completion of the sub-station will assist in achieving that goal and move the people from darkness to light.

He said that NDDC is determined on bringing light to the seven local government areas and the oil-producing communities of Ondo South Senatorial District.

Ogunmola stated that the electricity sub-station project will boost the economic activities in the State and also improve the residents standard of living.
