NCDMB Holds Webinar Session for Oil & Gas Stockholders

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has concluded arrangements to hold a session of Spotlight Webinar where oil and gas stakeholders are expected to share insights about opportunities in the industry.

The event, slated for Friday, 15th of May, 2020 by 4pm, will share with industry stakeholders about the Board’s plan for Innovation and Local Digital Technology Participation in the Industry.

The Board’s Executive Secretary, Engr Simbi Wabote is expected to lead the online discussion as the speaker.

Over the years, key sectors of the local economy have witnessed the opportunities that digital technology innovation can unlock.

The advent of young technology innovators in the financial services space, ushered in an era of financial technology (Fintech) services for the nation.

This same trend has also been observed in many other industries including health (Healthtech), education (Edtech), and Insurtech.

With recent happenings ranging from a pandemic to a global slump in oil price, the topic of innovation has become very paramount to the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry.

At the Webinar, the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board will share its perspectives and plans regarding innovation and digital technology development for the industry.

At this session, other industry stakeholders will share insights about opportunities in the industry for innovation and what they are currently doing in their various capacities.
