The Indian High Commission to Nigeria, Shri G. Balasubramanian, has confirmed the country’s preparedness to work together with the Nigerian energy sector in order to ensure the country’s smooth energy transition agenda.
Balasubramanian revealed this while on a tour of the Indian Pavilion at the just concluded Nigerian Oil and Gas (NOG) Energy Week Conference and Exhibition 2023 in Abuja.
According to him, India is playing a good role in renewable energy because it has some expertise in that area and plans to collaborate with Nigeria in that regard. He added that there are also huge opportunities for both countries to leverage.
Balasubramanian said that the country is excited to participate at NOG2023 because India has a good number of participants with about 48 exhibitors, which is an increase when compared to the conference in 2022.
In his own words, “the layout is very organized and easy to navigate. The exhibitors have very good and prime positions, which would help them in attracting more customers to the products and services, which they are exhibiting. In all, I believe that this is a very well-organized exhibition.”
He added that the Indian companies that were exhibiting are well-grounded and technologically driven companies with quality and affordable products and services, with the hope that they will find business opportunities in Nigeria.
