The Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli has appointed Khadi Muhammad Inuwa Aminu as the new Wazirin Zazzau and a senior member of the Emirate Council.
Khadi Muhammad Inuwa Aminu is former Secretary of the New Nigerian Newspapers Kaduna.
The appointment, Valuechain gathered, was disclosed in a letter Reference No. ZEC/64/2021 dated 11th October, 2021 and signed by the Secretary of the Zazzau Emirate Council, the Sarkin Fulanin Zazzau, Alhaji Barau Musa Aliyu.
It stated thus: “I have been directed to inform you that, on the orders of Kaduna State Government of 20/09/2021 contained in a memo with Reference No. GH/KD/S78, the Emir of Zazzau has conferred on you, the title of Wazirin Zazzau and senior member of the Emirate Council effective Monday, 11th October, 2021.
“His Royal Highness the Emir and the people of Zazzau Emirate congratulate you and wish you the best, hoping you will discharge your responsibility sincerely for the development of the Zazzau Emirate as well as continue to tell the truth at all times…,” the letter read in part.
The new Wazirin Zazzau was also an active member of the New Nigerian Newspapers football team, the Scoopers that won the Kaduna Inter-Media Football Competition on five occasions.
Before his retirement as a Khadi in the Kaduna State Judiciary, he had held various positions at various times including Directir of Finance and Supply in the Ministry of Youth and Sports as well as served Commissioner for Justice.
Valuechain reports that Governor Nasir El-Rufai had, in November 2020, suspended the former Wazirin Zazzau, Alhaji Ibrahim Aminu.
