One of the world’s greatest Leadership gurus John Maxwell titled a book of his; Talent is never enough. The role of discipline can never be over emphasised in the quest for relevance, significance and enduring impact.

Nothing of great worth happens by chance, everything of value begins with a firm decision to do all it takes within lawful bound to attain ones interest.

It was Mohammed Ali of blessed memory that said; “Champions are not made in the ring, they’re only celebrated there”. It is the behind the scenes practice that’s expressed openly.

Life is governed by unbending laws and principles, wisdom is knowing what you should do to realise your desire, discipline is going all the way out to implement your discovery even when the path seems unpleasant.

Believing your dream(s) will jump on you is wishful thinking!

No matter how intelligent you are, if you don’t take time to challenge your intelligence, you’d phase out.

When potential meets with discipline, fulfilment is born.

People of discipline are never toyed with, because others come to realise that they mean business and when any activity that entails meticulousness is on ground, it lands on their table.

Discipline is doing the needful even when it’s inconvenient.

Do what you should, the way you should, when you should. Excuses are the tools used to build great monuments of emptiness.

Preparation precedes Opportunity.
If you look at nature, you’ll see discipline, everything has its purpose and mode of expression.

I’ve never heard a lion bleat or a sheep roar. The cock has been the age-long alarm clock for many, it’ll crow each day at a particular time.

The sun still rises in the east and sets in the West, all rivers still flow into the ocean, I could go on and on.

In this fleeting world of ours, to leave your footprints in the sands of time, you must be a man or woman committed to discipline because the path of least resistance is what makes men and rivers crooked.
