The Central Energy Fund (CEF) Group will participate in Africa Energy Week (AEW) 2026, taking place from 12–16 October 2026 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).
The CEF Group delegation, according to a statement it issued, will be led by the Group Chairperson, Ms. Ayanda Noah accompanied by CEOs of CEF Group subsidiaries, non-executive directors, and senior executives.
Valuechain reports that the delegation will use the platform to engage with government, industry leaders, investors, development finance institutions, technical experts, energy stakeholders and the media on matters central to South Africa and the continent’s energy future.
CEF’s participation comes at an important period for the energy sector, as South Africa and the broader African continent seek to strengthen energy security, expand energy infrastructure, attract investment, support industrialisation, and ensure that energy resources contribute meaningfully to economic development and job creation.
CEF Group representatives will participate in a number of high-level panel discussions and sessions throughout the week, addressing issues across the energy value chain, the statement revealed furt.
The detailed programme of CEF Group participation is as follows:

Members of the media will have an opportunity to engage one-on-one with CEF Group panellists and delegation members during Africa Energy Week.

These engagements will provide an opportunity for journalists to obtain perspectives directly from CEF Group leadership and executives on key developments across the energy sector, including the Group’s strategic priorities, investment programme, energy infrastructure portfolio, refining capacity, exploration and production, energy security and the broader role of CEF in supporting South Africa’s energy future.
Valuechain also reports that media interviews can be arranged in advance or, subject to availability, during the conference as revealed by the statement.
It noted that journalists interested in arranging interviews with CEF Group representatives are encouraged to contact: dibusengm@cefgroup.co.za or via mobile 074 571 7506.
