NNPC Limited has delivered its most profitable year since becoming a commercial entity, posting N7.2 trillion Profit After Tax for 2025.

The disclosure was made by the Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Bayo Ojulari, during a Media Parley currently being hosted on the Company’s 2025 achievements and strategic vision for the future at the NNPC Headquarters in Abuja.

According to the audited results released after its Annual General Meeting on Monday, which were presented at the Parley, the profit grew from N5.4 trillion in 2024. The national oil company also announced a N5.8 trillion dividend to its shareholders.

Speaking at the Parley, the GCEO explained that the Company recorded N34.5 trillion in revenue, down 24% year-on-year, driven by softer crude oil prices and lower white products sales after market deregulation.

However, profitability improved significantly, Ojulari noted. EBITDA jumped 22% to N18 trillion, EPS rose to N35.9, and operating cash flow climbed 16% to N12.8 trillion.

Operationally, he said total crude oil and condensate production totalled 565.8 million barrels, up 5%. Its equity share rose 11% to 223.7 million barrels, while gas production reached 2,606.2 Bcf.

The GCEO further disclosed at the Media Parley that progress was also recorded on gas infrastructure, including completion of the AKK River Niger crossing and the 623km Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano mainline, and commissioning of the ANOH-OB3 Custody Transfer Metering Station.

For 2026 and beyond, the Company, according to Ojulari, plans to mobilise $60 billion in upstream, midstream and downstream investments and complete AKK, ELPS and OB3 pipelines.
