Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) and Kano State Water Board have reached an agreement to collaborate towards improving the living standards of their customers.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KEDCO, Ahmed Dangana, revealed this yesterday in a statement after a meeting with the Managing Director (MD) of Kano State Water Board, Engr. Ahmad Garba Bichi.
The statement, which was released by Bala Sani, the Company’s Head of Corporate Communications, quoted Dangana as saying that the partnership would be in the area of improved service delivery to enhance socioeconomic well-being of the people of the state.
“We acknowledge the importance of unhindered water supply to the health and wellbeing of the people which is why we supply electricity to water board facilities through dedicated priority feeders, with quality and reliable power supply, unless there are grid issues beyond our control,” Dangana said.
On his part, the Water Board CEO, Garba, also stressed the need for a cordial relationship between both organizations as a panacea to engender an improved standard of living for their customers.
